LABORATORIES:
The labs provide an experimental foundation for the theoretical concepts introduced in the lectures. The college has well planned laboratories on the campus which are well equipped with models ad instruments for students.
To meet the present demand the College has established Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, Geography and Computer labs well equipped with modern essential gadgets and adequate space.
CHEMISTRY LAB:
The department of Chemistry has an excellent teaching programme. At the B.Sc. level, the department offers laboratory and theory core courses covering basic concepts in various sub-disciplines of chemistry (physical, inorganic, organic). The department of chemistry constitutes one such center for academic excellence. Since its inception, the department has been engaged in imparting the highest level and quality of academic education. One of our key missions is to generate bulk human resource of unmatchable quality and recognition. The department is adequately equipped with the latest instruments known and required to carry out modern day chemistry. The students are provided a comprehensive practical exposure to the various instrumental techniques required for their research.
BOTANY LAB
Plants provide an essential foundation on life on earth, therefore in depth basic and applied knowledge of this subject is of prime importance. Considering the scope and opportunities for botany students for topics such as Plant diversity, Plant Morphology and Anatomy, Plant Taxonomy, Plant physiology, Plant Pathology, Plant biotechnology, Plant Embryology, Evolution and Paleobotany, Genetics and Plant Biochemistry.
The laboratories are spacious, well ventilated and are equipped with the necessary instruments as per the syllabus by CDLU such as Dissecting microscopes, compound microscopes, spectrophotometer, colorimeter, centrifuge machine, heating mantle, air sampler, hygrometer,autoclave, microtome, botanical charts and specimens.
PHYSICS LAB:
The lab provides genuine understanding to relate the abstract ideas to particular facts. The students are encouraged to write reports on careful observations and thoughtful analysis of actual experiments given in the syllabus.
The project programs of the Department cover a number of areas like Materials Science, Solid State Physics, Nuclear Physics, Lasers, Optics, Computer Programming, Computer Interfacing, Nano Physics and Energy Conservation.
ZOOLOGY LAB
The college has a spacious internet equipped Zoology laboratory to conduct practicals in basic Zoology. Moreover, the laboratory has all the necessary infrastructure and equipments to conduct practicals in the field of Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, Ecology, Bioinformatics etc. In addition to the laboratory there is a large Museum well stocked with hundreds of invertebrate and vertebrate specimens. The subject knowledge is delivered through theory lectures and practicals that enable students to learn the basic techniques in animal experimentation that shall further enhance their confidence to pursue their Masters Degree.
Though evolved as a branch of classical science, Zoology today has many applicative branches that play a crucial role in the scientific, social and economic development of the society.
GEOGRAPHY LAB
The Department of Geography has an excellent teaching programme offers Laboratory and theory courses covering basic concept in various Sub-discipline of Geography. The department of Geography is a centre of teaching and research in Earth Science. The Department of Geography Constitutes one such centre for academic excellence. Since its inception, the department has been engaged in imparting the highest level and quality of academic education. The institute is equipped with sophisticated computer labs with more than 250 high quality Dual Core 2.70 GHz machines from HCL. Printers and scanners are provided in each and every lab and each computer is connected with high speed dedicated 2 mbps 1:1 bandwidth. All computer labs are connected with 24 Hrs uninterrupted power supply.
Internet Connectivity:
All computers are connected with dedicated 2 mbps 1:1 bandwidth internet. The internet connectivity with campus wide area networking enables access from anywhere. Internet connectivity is extended to Hostel with Wi-Fi Connectivity.
Campus Wide Network:
The campus wide area network is spread over all the institutions connecting all the service points. The whole campus is provided with the facility of Wi-Fi Connectivity including Hostels, Lawns, Canteen and Central Library.

Network Lab is equipped with the advanced hardware and tools for the networking. The lab provides the facility to learn latest networking techniques, topologies and maintaining the network. The lab equipped with latest Cisco Routers, various Switches, Networking Cables, Wired and Wireless LAN Cards.
