The College Celebrated the beginning of Session Commenced on 23rd July 2018 by the tree plantation in the college ground. The Principal Dr. Shikha Goyal, Managing Director Dr. Harmender Singh and the Subject Teachers were present along with College Students.
College organized “Jai Ho” program on the celebration of ‘Kargil Vijay Diwas’ on 26 July 2018. Many students participated and given performances regarding patriotism. A group including group singing and skit. Manju, Sangeeta & Kavita participated in group singing with that Jasbeer & group presented the skit on Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar.
Students were distributed among various groups like sports, cultural, English Spoken, Competitive and self Study according to the interest and were given trained teachers, Coaches to inculcate the talent among students.
College organized quiz competition on 09 Aug., 2018 to increase the level of knowledge in students. Ten Teams participated in this event and gave their best response among these teams Aryan team got first division, Innovators and Champion got second & Third division.
On 14 Aug. 2018 college celebrated the festival teez and Independence day with various events like mehandi, speech, singing, Gidda, Bhangra & Choreography. Various students had given names and best response students shown out their hidden talent and got prizes and certificates. Sonali got first prize in Mehndi, Arvind presented the speech on the festivals of India and got first prizes. Varsa, Beant. Parul, Isha, Sunyari participated in Gidha and gave wonderful performance.
By the order of higher education department (Govt. of Haryana) our College organized three day programmed. First day on 24/09/2019 poem recitation and speech Competitions held on women empowerment. On Second day 25/09/2018 College organized on events ‘Mujhe bhi Udene Do’ in which a coach came ti tell the techniques of self protection to girl students and a class was held for this purpose and in last they all took oath to stand against the ‘dowry’ Not to given and Not to take. Third day on the occasion of ‘Raksha-bandan’ Rakhi making Competitions were held. Many students used the waste material and made the beautiful Rakhi’s. An emotional Skit also were presented on the love of brother sister. And in last Nisha, Isha & Parul got first, second & third prize in Rakhi making and took prizes and certificates.
On 05/09/2018 “Teacher’s Day celebration” held in college. Many games were organized by students for the teachers. At the same time speech competitions were also held in which students told the importance of teachers in life and honored the teachers with gifts as the taken of love.
In the memory of Martyr Lala Jagat Narayan ji our college conducted Blood donation camp. College welcomed D.C Dr. J.K. Abhir and S.P Deepak Saharan. Local people and college students too participated by donating blood. As they know that our drop of Blood can save one live on earth. It is great and life donation. In last they all took oath to donate blood forever in the interval of three months to save the needy lives on earth.
On 14/09/2018 Hindi Diwas has been organized with the event of slogans, essay writing and poem recitation. Students represented the ‘Dohas’ of famous Hindi poets ‘Kabir ji’ ‘Meera Bai Ji’, ‘Surdas Ji’ & ‘Tulsi Das ji’ in the interesting ways and got prizes and certificates.
On 18/09/2018 Extension Lecture were held by College. The Lecture was presented by ‘Dr. Nirmala Kayat’ regarding success. She told that work hard is the key of success and nothing is impossible because impossible own says ‘ I am possible’.
25/09/2018 on the occasion of birthday of “Martyr Bhagat Singh” the students of Punjabi university, Patiala “Red Art Punjabi Team of Patiala” exhibited a play in front of students which highlighted the drug abuse, demerits and damages along with it a short documentary on the life of Martyr Bhagat Singh was shown to students on this occasion, the state president of Martyr Bhagat Singh Youth Society was also present to encourage the students.
30/09/2018 on surgical strike day many events like poem recitation, declamation were conducted. Number of students had participated in the events and gave best performances. In poem recitation Sonu, Pawanpreet and Anita got first, second & third prizes. In declamation Arvind, Sahil & Sukhpreet got first, Second & third prizes. At the end of ceremony principal and Management members distributed certificates and prizes.
On two days talent hunt competitions program held in the college on 05-06 Oct.2018 campus to find hidden talent among students and to inculcate different interest in them. On 05/10/2018 various events held such as speech, mono-acting, Poetical symposium, playing instrumental, quiz. Abhishek, Arvind, Pawanpreet got first, second & third prize in speech, in mono-acting Sulekha, Sushil & Mamta got first, Second & third position. In poetical symposium Sukhjeet Sunil and Pawanpreet got first prize, Second & third prizes. In playing Instrumentals Sheru khan, Amritpal and Bobby got first , Second & third prizes. In quiz Arvind and group, Monika and group, Sahil and group got first, second & third prize. On 06/10/2018 various events such as singing, dances were held. In Singing Sukhjeet, Sangeeta and Sheru khan got first, second & third prize. In dancing simarjeet, Parul & Beant got first, second & third prize. In painting competition Manju, Sangeeta & Amritpal got first, Second & third division. In Videography Mukesh, Mangal & Sonu got first, second & third prize. In photography Mukesh, Sonu Mangal Singh got prizes. At the end of ceremony all the students were appreciated by the principal and management and awarded with certificates.
On 16/10/18 Multi subject council were built by college in the seminar hall whose main motive was to develop interest in their own subject and extra co-curricular activities. Students were selected on the basis of their academic records. In social subject council Anita, Kamal, Naresh were selected as president, Secretary & Cashier. In Sports Council Suresh, Gurmanveer & Jasbeer were selected as president, Secretary & Cashier. In Punjabi Subject council Gagandeep kaur, Pawanpreet Kaur and Isha were selected as president, Secretary & Cashier. In Hindi Sub. Council Dayawanti, Sulekha & Mamta were selected as president, Secretary & Cashier. In Commerce Council Rinkal, Kuljeet & Sonali were selected as president, Secretary & Cashier. In Science Muskitiers Council Abhishek, Sukhjeet & Sanjay were selected as president, Secretary & Cashier. English Speakers Council Sukhjeet, Monika, & Mohit were chosen as president, Secretary & Cashier. Along with it a quiz contest were organized by Social Science Council to increase the Knowledge about constitution among students. In which six teams were participated and Sanju And group won the competition with highest scores.
Mentor Mentee Meeting were organized in the college campus on 18/10/18 By the order of higher education department. College principal Dr. Shikha Goyal said that in order to understand the cyclonical and communicate with them time to time and provide them guidance.
On the Occasion of Kerwa Chauth Festival 28-10-2018 Mehandi, Painting and Rangoli events held in college. Numbers of Students gave their names & made Beautiful Rangolies, Paintings. In Painting Sangeeta, Manju, Pushpa got first, second & Third prize. In Rangoli Sunil, Mamta & Neetu got First , second & Third Prize. In Mehandi Sonali. Monika got first & Second prize. In every events students of college give wonderful response and win prizes, certificates by Honorable Guests.
On 31 Oct.2018 in college ‘Red Cross Society’ celebrated National Unity Day in memory of Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel. A skit has been organized on the theme of ‘Casteism Discrimination’. A group of students participated and performed best drama. An emotional atmosphere has been created when students gave their patriotic performances by singing. In singing Sukhjeet, Sheru Khan & Sahil won the hearts of audience and judges by giving spectacular performance. All the staff members and college students took oath to maintain unity forever. Along with it extension lecture were held in the college. The lecture was presented by ‘Prof. Vishnu Bhagwan’ Regarding Drungs abuse And its demerits. He told Drug addiction is a condition where person feels a strong need to take a drug and that person said to have an add ictive personality. It often linked with other mental disorders.
On the occasion of ‘Diwali’ the women cell of college conducted the various events such as candle decoration, Thali Decoration, card decoration, Door hanging making competitions. Number of students gave names and used waste materials to make, decorate candles, Diya’s, Card, Door hangings. In these ways, they won the hearts of judges by their creative mind and taken prizes and certificates. Sahil, Neha got first prize in candle decoration along with it Neha got first prize in card decoration. In Thali decoration Gurpreet, Nisha & in Door hanging Nisha got first prize. In the end of ceremony they all took oath to celebrate ‘Green Diwali’ & ‘Not to use Crackers’ because it increase the level of pollution and dangerous for Human Health.
Three days Youth festival program held in university campus for the sake for finding hidden talent among students and to includes different interest among them. Our students gave their participation in various events in youth festival and make proud to the college. On first day 14-11-2019 for poster-making, Quiz competition students went to the university campus in youth festival and gave best performance. In poster making Suman performed well and in Quiz Anita, Sanju,Shakti gave good response. On second day 15-11-2018 various events students went from college such as painting competition, vediography,photography, sankrit poem recitation, Quawali singing, Folk song, Shabad singing, debate, declamation, Rangoli, Mehandi, Clay moulding competitions. The girl student Sukhjeet gave mesmerized performance for this , she got standing audition from audience and won the hearts of judges. In Quawali singing event group of students performed fantastically and gathered lot of praise from judges. In folk song event, Satbir had given ‘Ghaint’ performance, which insisted audience to dance and all enjoyed with great hooting along with it in Rangoli Sunil, in painting competition Sangeeta gave wonderful response and Knocked with competition of other college students. In declamation, Videography & photography Arvind, Sonu & Mukesh gave nice performance and presented the college name with their talent.
on 18-11-2018, the Governor of Udisa Prof. Ganeshi Lal came in college campus to meet with students and give them best wishes for their future. He said “Don’t be afraid to give up the good to go for the best”. The college principal Dr Shikha Goyal & Managing Director Dr. Harmender Singh, staff members and college students welcomed him and honored him with bookey as token of love.
22-11-2018 on the occasion of ‘Guru Nanak Dev Jayanti’ Punjabi department organized group singing competitions. Many students teams performed in seminar hall but Sahil and team got first prize in shabad singing competition. Managing Director Dr.Harmender Singh told the importance of this day. Among students why we celebrate it with and distributed prizes and certificates to encourage students.
Students of college gave their wonderful participation in inert college cricket on 29-11-2018. The match played ijn J.C.D. college where various teams came from different colleges but our college students gave their best and taken entry in semifinals. The Managing Director, Principal and all staff members given greetings to the team for the future success.
on ‘Aids day’ 01-12-2018 the Science muskities of college displayed a short documentary based on Aids which was about HIV “Human immunodefiency virus that progressively destroys the body’s immune system. Aids is advanced stage of HIV infection. Lohri Betion Ke Naam On 14 Jan , the College organized a cultural program “ Lohri Betion Ke Naam”. There were various cultural events were organized Maa Tujhe Salaam To celebrate Republic Day on 26 Jan 2019 , the College Organized a patriotic program Maa Tujhe Salaam in which choreography and patriotic songs were presented by the students. World Cancer Day The College organized an awareness Seminar and Speech competition to promote awareness regarding cancer on 4 Feb 2019. |
